Local Mode
Local mode keeps test sessions, test plans, executions, and related logs on your own device. When local mode is disabled, those records are stored on Long Horizon servers.
What stays the same
- Your source code is never sent to Long Horizon servers in either mode.
- You still sign in and select a workspace.
- You can switch modes anytime in desktop app Settings.
Local mode limitations
- Session sharing is disabled.
- Hosted report links cannot be created while local mode is enabled.
- Session lists are loaded from your local device storage.
